  • Product Type: Max Meyer Maxicar BO78 is a high-quality tinter designed for use within the Maxicar high solids (HS) solvent mixing scheme.
  • Color: Dark Blue (BO78)
  • Volume: Supplied in 1 Litre (1L) metal can
  • Application: Specifically intended for automotive refinishing applications. Used in the formulation of basecoat colors, including pearl and multi-stage finishes. Must be combined with other tinters as per the Maxicar mixing system.
  • Compatibility: Designed for use with MaxMeyer Maxicar solvent-based paint systems. Not to be used as a standalone product.
  • Coverage & Performance: Excellent opacity and pigment dispersion. Contributes to fast-drying and easy-to-apply basecoats with high coverage and durability.
  • Composition: Solvent-based formulation. Contains high-solids content for superior coverage and color depth.
  • Surface Suitability: For properly prepared automotive body surfaces. Requires substrate pre-cleaning and priming in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry area between 5°C and 35°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.
  • Health & Safety: Contains volatile solvents. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, respirator, and eye protection must be worn during handling. Dispose of residues in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations.
