High performance 2K epoxy primer with anticorrosive properties. Excellent sealing, adhesion and filling abilities. Resistant to extreme weather conditions. Suitable for application over old paints, non-sanded bare metal, aluminium, stainless steel and zinc surfaces. Mixing ratio 4:1 with H732 Epoxy Hardener.

  • Product Type: 2K Epoxy Primer Kit – includes 4 Litres of HB Body 989 Grey Epoxy Primer and 1 Litre of H732 Epoxy Hardener (Mixing ratio 4:1).
  • Application: Designed for high-performance automotive refinishing. Suitable for use over bare metal (including aluminium, zinc, and stainless steel), old paints, and non-sanded surfaces.
  • Key Features: Excellent adhesion, sealing, and filling properties. Offers advanced anti-corrosive protection and strong resistance to moisture and extreme weather conditions.
  • Curing: Mix with H732 Hardener at a 4:1 volume ratio. Apply with spray guns. Allow appropriate flash-off and curing times as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oils, rust, and contaminants prior to application. Sandblasting or degreasing may be required for optimal adhesion.
  • Composition: Epoxy resin-based primer system. Solventborne formulation; ensure proper ventilation during application and curing.
  • Finish: Smooth matte grey finish ideal for further topcoat application.
  • Volume: Total 5 litres (4L Primer + 1L Hardener), suitable for larger automotive panel coverage.
  • Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition.
  • Safety Information: Contains solvents and isocyanates – use appropriate PPE (gloves, mask, eye protection). Avoid inhalation and skin contact. Dispose of in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations.
